Plankton pump
diversified plankton population
The commonly used centrifugal pumps hamper the growth and presence of a diversified plankton population because:
- plankton may be crushed by the blades
- plankton may be destroyed by increasing compression in the pump
- there may appear a selection among plankton species because some might survive the effect of pumping
DESIGNED FOR Sea water
The
Plankton pump is specially designed for sea water. Because
the pump has no blades it hardly generates any turbulence
in the pump itself; crushing of plankton species will be avoided,
while the wear of the pump is very low. Advantages for you
